The acoustic music gatherings operate on the 1st Friday of each month, except in August when we have a holiday break.

We start at 8.00pm and end at around 10.30. We are not too late finishing, acknowledging that some have a fair drive home. Musicians of all abilities are encouraged to come along to play and listening audience is likewise heartily welcomed.

We sit in a small hall and operate a ‘singaround’ format which helps to keep things light-hearted and informal. Mostly, musicians get to sing at least two songs and any acoustic instrument or unaccompanied singing in any style is the order of the day.

We have a break where free hot drinks are available. If you want to bring your own alcohol, that’s fine and we can find a glass for you. Donations of about £3.00 are welcome and we won’t get too squiffy if you don’t have the exact cash – near enough is fine.

There is street parking around RH14 9NP or you can park for free after 6.pm in the village car park by the library at the rear of Sainsbury’s.
